Dr. Hill received his doctorate degree from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He established his optometric practice in Checotah in 1984. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1978 with a BS degree in Meteorology. He also holds an AD degree in Science from Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He successfully met all the requirements for Laser Therapy of the Anterior Segment in 1995. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Optometric Physicians Association. Dr. Hill practices comprehensive family vision care, which includes the care and treatment of ocular diseases, the fitting of contact lenses, and the prescribing of glasses. His also provides pre and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgery patients.
Dr Hill is very active in his community; He is a member of Checotah Main Street, Checotah Chamber of Commerce, Checotah Lions Club, a board member of the Friends of the Honey Springs Battlefield and the North Fork Baptist Church of Eufaula, Ok.
Dr. Hill and his wife LaVana were both originally from Oklahoma City. LaVana is a registered nurse who graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma with a BS degree in Nursing. She was awarded a PHT Degree (Putting Hubby Through) in 1984. Dr Hill and his wife have three children of whom the are very proud and love dearly.
